We have found that GPS and GIS can be used to create powerful education, conservation, and lobbying tools.If you are embarking on any type of environmental project check with us first - we are full of ideas on how to add a GPS/GIS component to your project. We also have equipment to rent and offer training to raise your/your group's capacity to participate in such projects.
Equipment
Below
is a list of the equipment that is available to rent. We rent out these
items by the day or week under the conditions outlined in the rental agreements.
The agreements are listed with the epuipment, if there is no agreement listed
for the piece of equipment you want to rent just Contact
Us. If you decide to rent equipemnt it is a good idea to let us know
at least a week in advance so that we can ensure the item you want is available
and in good working condition.
TMC may rent out the following equipment (subject to availability):
- Trimble Pro XR and Geo XH (Trimble Agreement)
- Garmin hand-held GPS units(GPS Unit Agreement)
- FRS field communication radios
- Rangefinder 400 electronic distance measurer
- Electroshocker (Electroshocker Agreement)
- LCD Media Projector (Panasonic PTLC80)(Projector Agreement)
- Streamkeeper Supplies (Aquatic habitat monitoring kits)
